Practical experimentation and testing are at the root of modern engineering practice. Laboratory work is vital for gaining fundamental understanding of how materials, parts, components or systems will behave under a variety of conditions. As such, it is essential that civil engineering students be able to work productively in this setting.

Students are taught a practical, hands-on approach to building roof-structures as well as, working with the relevant tools and materials.
Students are provided with the necessary equipment to give them the best learning experience.

By using industry-level tools and machinery, students are able to gain practical experience and improve their abilities.
Students are also given the chance to learn plumbing, brick-laying and a variety of other courses in order to make them well-rounded and aware of other fields within the industry.
